We are continously working with a wide arrange of bio-circular concepts.
We call these concepts greenloops

Black Soldier Fly Larvae

Our main project aims to harness the incredible potential of black soldier fly larvae (Hermetia illucens) as a sustainable and versatile solution for multiple industries. We focus on utilizing these larvae to produce high-quality protein and fat for animal feed, addressing the growing demand for sustainable protein sources.

Additionally, we extract valuable chitin, melanin, and other essential nutrients from the larvae, which find applications in the food, pharmaceutical, and agricultural sectors. Our innovative approach allows us to maximize resource utilization while minimizing waste. Moreover, we utilize the remaining residue as organic fertilizer, contributing to a circular economy and promoting environmentally friendly practices.

Through our project, we strive to revolutionize animal feed production while promoting sustainability and reducing waste.

Organic fertilizer / frass

Organic fertilizer, also known as frass, is a valuable byproduct obtained from the rearing process of black soldier fly larvae. As the larvae consume organic waste, they break it down and convert it into nutrient-rich frass.

Frass serves as an excellent organic fertilizer due to its high content of essential nutrients such as nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, and micronutrients. These nutrients are crucial for plant growth and development. By incorporating frass into soil, it enhances soil fertility, improves nutrient availability, and promotes healthier plant growth.

Frass has several advantages over traditional synthetic fertilizers. It is organic and free from harmful chemicals, making it safer for the environment and reducing the risk of water pollution. Additionally, frass acts as a soil conditioner, improving soil structure and water retention capacity.

The utilization of frass as an organic fertilizer not only provides a sustainable waste management solution but also supports eco-friendly agricultural practices by reducing reliance on synthetic fertilizers. It contributes to a circular economy by closing the nutrient loop and minimizing waste.
